Who we are
Me, Remembered AI is operated by Guardian Inc., which is the data controller for the personal data described here — meaning we decide how and why it is used. Contact: alayna.rodriguez@advancedfutureai.onmicrosoft.com.
What we collect and why
- Account details (name, email, password or Google/Apple sign-in, profile photo, gender) — to create your account and personalize your twin's voice. Basis: contract.
- Memories and media (stories, answers, photos, audio recordings, tags) — to build your digital twin and share it with people you choose. Basis: contract.
- Voice recordings for cloning — only if you choose to clone your voice, to create your cloned voice. Basis: your consent, which you can withdraw by removing your clone.
- Relationships and invitations (names, emails, photos of people you add) — to send invites and control who can reach your twin. Basis: legitimate interests.
- Chats and messages — to provide conversations with twins and Twin Parties. Basis: contract.
- Usage and device data (IP address, browser, pages used, usage counts) — for security, fraud prevention, plan limits and improving the Service. Basis: legitimate interests.
- Support messages — to help you. Basis: legitimate interests.
- Marketing — we may email you about the Service; you can unsubscribe anytime. Basis: consent or legitimate interests.
Who we share it with
- Service providers that run the Service for us: hosting and database, email delivery, AI processing (OpenAI) and talking-avatar/voice video (HeyGen).
- Paddle, our Merchant of Record, for the sale of products, subscription management, payments, tax compliance and invoicing.
- People you share with — loved ones you grant access to your twin and memories.
- Professional advisers such as lawyers and accountants.
- Authorities where required by law.
We do not sell your personal data. Some providers are located in the United States or other countries; where required we rely on safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses.
How long we keep it
We keep your data while your account is active. When you delete your account or content, or it is no longer needed, we delete or anonymise it within a reasonable period, unless we must keep it for legal reasons.
Your rights
Depending on where you live (including under GDPR and California law), you may have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to use of your data, to receive a copy of it, and to withdraw consent. You can also complain to your local data protection authority. Email alayna.rodriguez@advancedfutureai.onmicrosoft.com and we will respond within one month.
Security
We use appropriate technical and organisational measures, including encryption in transit, access controls and per-user data permissions, to protect your data.
Cookies
We only use essential cookies and browser storage needed to keep you signed in and the app working. We do not use advertising cookies.

We may update this notice and will post the new version here.
